Welcome to Beyond
The Reef
Beyond The Reef is a very small, dedicated
dive center on the Pacific island of Yap in Western Micronesia
offering daily guided dive and snorkeling tours to the island's
best sites, including the famous manta rays. And with only
four divers on each boat, our customers enjoy a small-group
style of diving that's relaxed, easy, fun and safe.
We opened for business in 1993 and
our professional staff of local dive guides know just about
every nook and cranny on every reef. You can be sure to
get the most out of your dive vacation when you dive with
us. We're casual, friendly folks that love to dive and want
to show you the best of Yap!

4 Divers
per boat?
That's right! We feel that when
exploring one of the most spectacular dive destinations
in the world, you shouldn't be on a crowded dive boat.
That's why Beyond The Reef takes only four guests
on each boat, complete with an underwater guide and
boat skipper.
Whether taking photos or just
watching the fish, diving with smaller groups simply
makes for better dives. Less bubbles in front of your
camera lens, less chance of getting kicked, and a
whole lot more personal attention to your needs as
a diver.
Size does matter....when it
comes to dive groups. Dive with us and you'll see
why small groups lead to better dives.
